Before starting with wine, his great-grandfather, and before him his ancestors, produced spirits in that region since the mid-19th century.

Tradition that was started by his great-grandfather Nicolás Perez Ugarte, in the 1930s, working for one of the oldest and most recognized wineries in Mendoza, Bodega Arizu in the center of Mendoza.

Grand Vin
Grand Vin is a blend of 5 varieties, predominantly Tocai, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier, worked separately and fermented mainly in oak barrels, both new and used with selected yeasts. They all come from Vista Flores, from the Chacayes Farm planted by François Lurton 20 years ago. Located at 1,100 meters above sea level, with very draining and infertile stony and calcareous soils mixed with volcanic moraines.
